Our Vision
An India where no one travels alone unless they want to — where every empty seat finds a passenger, every unfamiliar road has a familiar voice on it, and help is never more than one tap away, no matter how remote the highway.
GAMYO is one app for the whole journey — find fellow travellers, share the seats in your car, discover what's actually worth stopping for, keep the people who love you on your live map, and reach help in a single tap.
Connect · Explore · Find Happiness.
Most travel apps solve one slice of a trip. GAMYO puts the four things a traveller actually needs — people, rides, places and safety — behind one login, on one map, in one conversation thread. The same experience runs on Android, iOS and the web.
An India where no one travels alone unless they want to — where every empty seat finds a passenger, every unfamiliar road has a familiar voice on it, and help is never more than one tap away, no matter how remote the highway.
To put a trusted travel companion in every traveller's pocket: one app that connects people to people, people to seats, and people to places — built to be fast on a budget phone, honest about what it costs, and serious about safety from the very first release.
Every capability below ships inside the same app, on the same account, with the same navigation bar.
A social feed built for the road, not for influencers. Post travel stories with location and travel date, drop photo and video reels, or go live for 60 seconds from wherever you are standing.
Peer-to-peer seat sharing between travellers going the same way. Post the route, the date, the seats and your per-seat cost — then approve requests manually or turn on auto-accept.
Safety is wired through the product rather than bolted on. Vehicle number and model are shown on every ride card, drivers approve who joins, profiles can be made private, and a revoke-all switch cuts every location share instantly.
A live map of what is actually around you — hotels, restaurants, street food, tours, temples and devotional places, garages, fuel, ATMs, pharmacies, hospitals, police, airports, bus stands and railway stations.
One large red button that alerts every emergency contact at once with your live position, plus direct quick-dial to India's emergency services without leaving the app.
Share a journey as it happens. Static mode drops your position once; Live Tracking streams continuous updates into the chat thread so family and co-riders can watch the ride complete.
Booking a ride opens a conversation. Direct messages, voice and video calls, group chats for a convoy, and a traveller profile that shows the journeys behind the person.
AI Ride Matcher reads routes, timing, seats and price to surface the rides that genuinely fit your journey — instead of making you scroll a list and do the matching in your head.
The same six-icon navigation — Feed, Rides, Explore, Chat, Profile, SOS — on a phone's bottom bar and a browser's sidebar. Learn it once; it never moves.
Drag the deck, or let it turn. Every route below is the kind of journey travellers post a ride for on GAMYO.
Tap a module to see the screen it maps to. On desktop, the phone tilts in 3D as you move across it.
Stories at the top, create Post / Reel / Go Live in the middle, and an endless scroll of journeys below. Every post carries a place, a date, tagged people and hashtags.
Post a ride in one form, or search from / to city and filter the results. AI Ride Matcher sits at the top of the screen to do the matching for you.
Search hotels, temples and more against a live map, then narrow with radius, minimum rating and open-now until only the useful results remain.
Chats and Calls tabs, searchable conversations, group chats for a convoy, and a live tracking card that appears inside the thread while a GAMYO ride is running.
Cover photo, avatar, bio, join date and the stats that matter: posts, followers, following. Content is filtered into All, Photos, Videos and Rides.
Always one tap from every screen. Alerts every saved contact with your position, keeps streaming updates if you choose live mode, and dials emergency services directly.
A walkthrough of the product, published and replaced by the GAMYO team from the admin panel.
The GAMYO product walkthrough will appear here as soon as it is uploaded.
Name, photo, bio — and a private-account switch if you'd rather stay low-key.
List your seats and price, or search a route and let AI Ride Matcher shortlist for you.
Booking opens a thread. Confirm the pickup, share live location, watch the ride move.
Find what's worth stopping for, then post the story back to the community.
Community, rides, maps, messaging, identity and emergency in a single account — nothing to sync, nothing to re-install.
Cost-shared seats mean the driver recovers fuel and the passenger pays a fraction of a private cab on the same route.
Vehicle number on every card, approval before anyone joins, live tracking for family, and SOS on every screen.
Indian emergency numbers, ₹ per seat, regional discovery categories and a UI that stays fast on entry-level phones.
Every ride comes with a profile, a follower count and a chat thread — you know who you are travelling with before you get in.
Every filled seat is one fewer vehicle on the highway. Sharing a ride is the simplest emissions cut a traveller can make.
One codebase, one account, the same six modules — plus a responsive web experience at gamyo.app.

App Store · coming soonLocation (rides, Explore, SOS), camera and microphone (posts, reels, live, calls), photo library (uploads), contacts only if you add an emergency contact manually. Each one is requested at the moment it is used.
Media is compressed before upload, the map loads tiles progressively and live tracking is throttled so a long journey does not eat a day's data pack.
Features ship module by module. Release notes are published on the store listing and the roadmap is shaped by what the community asks for in the Feed.
The company behind the app — registered in India and operating the GAMYO platform, the gamyo.app website and the Android and iOS applications.
GAMYO Private Limited builds and operates GAMYO, a travel ecosystem for Indian travellers. The company provides the technology platform that connects travellers to one another; it is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not itself own vehicles, employ drivers or operate transport services. Rides listed on GAMYO are private, cost-shared journeys arranged directly between users.
Everything that governs how GAMYO is used, written in plain language and kept current.
